Take the power of the burn from a fire, with it's ability to be utterly destructive to anything in it's path and pretend it did just the opposite. Pretend along with its brilliant brightness it spreads simmering elation as it swallows and enraptures those left vulnerable to its authority. Its ferocity and persistence is ravenous, its white hot heat spreads wildly and permeates into every seam and fills every area with euphoria. It's movement crawls slowly then sweeps briskly as it creates sheer destruction of all that threatens it's peaceful command. It is more supreme and enthralling than any power to observe, the way it annihilates the unmerciful is mesmerizing to witness. With great radiance and luminosity it blankets itself among its prey deeming it now recognizable only as a being that shines vividly, dazzling in it's new state, no longer recognizable as it once was.
The spark started when I last spoke to you.
It started in my heart which is now…simply aflame.
